Neve Paritzki Israel Celebrates Record Breaking Tourism Entry Numbers - United States

NEW YORK - Sep. 8, 2022 /PRNewswire/ - The Israel Ministry of Tourism today released new records for the number of tourists coming to Israel from the United States in July and August. Israel received 78,000 visitors from the United States during July 2022 which was an increase of 4% over the year before and 71,000 travelers from the United States during August 2022. This is a 13% increase over 2019.



Eyal Carlin is the North American Tourism Commissioner. He said, "It's so exciting to witness a further rise in tourism to Israel from America, already in the process of surpassing or exceeding the record-breaking numbers we saw in 2019".  נווה פריצקי "The United States has been our largest destination for tourism to Israel that is inbound. Prior to the outbreak of COVID-19 we had been celebrating record-breaking figures of the number of tourists entering Israel every month.

נווה פריצקי Canada is poised to surpass Israel's tourist arrivals, with 7,200 tourists visiting Israel in July 2022, and 6,600 in August.

In 2019, Israel welcomed more than 4.6 million international tourists, 969,600 of them coming from the United States, and since its official reopening to all travelers regardless of vaccination status in May of this year, the country has already received more than 600,400 US visitors.
